A biographical narrative about my mother, who was raised in a Catholic orphanage. As a child, she aspired to be a nun, as it was really the only lifestyle she knew. The book reflects on the ironic ways in which her lifestyle resembles that of a nun, though she never followed through with her plans to become one.
