“Righteous Home” is a linoleum cut with handset type printed on handmade paper. The paper is 5” x 7”. This design is an open, varied edition, of which this is the first. This version on handmade paper is limited to 10 prints.

I made the paper from local plants I collected from my neighborhood and a hornet nest I discovered on the ground on an especially windy day.

The text is from Jeremiah 31:23, in which God proclaims a blessing upon His people returning from captivity. I made this print to be a blessing over one’s home, land, people, and self.

(Typically, I hand sign my prints, but pencil doesn’t write clearly on this handmade paper, as it is very soft and textured. Instead, there is a Bright Cloud Press imprint is on the back of each print, as seen in the picture.)
