“Not Wittingly” is from a series of prints and carved objects titled by the same title. In this body of work, I explore themes of willful deception and complicit action in covert military projects. I hone in on the details of found subject matter, focusing the viewer’s attention on the peculiar significance of an unsettling image or phrase.
