“The absence of evidence is not the evidence of absence (Blizzard #12)” is a multi-layered collagraph monotype with cutouts on Fabriano Rosalina paper. The top print is a relief print, and the print below (the text seen in the cutouts) is printed in intaglio. The print is 11" x 15". It is a unique monotype print from a series of 22 prints titled Blizzard.

Blizzard is a series of 22 collagraph monotypes in which visual information is obscured by means of accumulation, redaction, and cover up. To make the prints, I created a set of interchangeable matrixes. I layered, stenciled, and printed the matrixes in intaglio and relief to get varied results. You can read more about this series here.
